TEAM

BlueUmbrella is fueled by our passion to make an outsized impact in the world of autism, neurodiversity, and special needs.

Founder: Dan Feshbach

Experienced operator, Founder of successful Autism startup & school.

Dan Feshbach is a successful entrepreneur, master convener, and father of a 27-year-old son with autism. He advises and mentors autism companies, assisting them with high-level strategy, funding, and pilot sites.  This work is the genesis of BlueUmbrella, which promises to radically expand this assistance to hundreds of companies.

Concurrent with founding BlueUmbrella, Dan has played a key role on the organizing team in launching the Autism Impact Fund, which, with a goal of $100M, is on track to be the largest social impact fund in this arena.

Dan’s entrepreneurship extends to both the autism and data analytics sectors. He co-founded two autism organizations:

  • TeachTown: a digital and traditional curriculum company that serves 20,000 students a week in 1000+ school districts

  • Oak Hill School: a nonprofit specialized school for students with autism ages 6-22 in Marin County, CA

An expert in quantitative research, he has launched three companies that use data analytics for competitive advantage:

  • MeasureOne: Academic Data for Employability, Lending, Education

  • LoanPerformance: Investor Mortgage Data, Predicted Financial Crisis of 2008, Acquired by CoreLogic

  • Meritize: Merit Based Student Loan Lender
